I woke up this morning at 5:06am to the sound of my phone receiving an SMS from +12099040199. The message itself said “OTA OK”. That’s all. I googled the number, and ended up here.
Apparently it’s some sort of message GSM phone companies send out to make sure the phones are up to date or something.
