According to Engadget, the phone will have:

  • 1GHz processor, the fastest of any phone out there
  • Android 2.1
  • 11.5mm thickness
  • 512MB RAM, 512MB ROM, 4GB microSD in-box expandable to 32GB
  • 5 megapixel camera with mechanical AF and LED flash
  • HSPA 900 / 1700 / 2100, 7.2Mbps down and 2Mbps up — in other words, yes to T-Mobile 3G and no to AT&T 3G, though you’ll still be fine on EDGE
  • 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED display

Nobody knows how the invites will be given out, except it will be Google who is doing the inviting.  Soon, T-Mobile should be able to sell the phone, though.

Expected price for this phone, that is to sell directly from Google are $199 (subsidized by advertisements) or $199 on T-Mobile with a 2-year contract.

Google has updated the Blogger platform so that those hosted on their own BlogSpot hosting service have access to these widgets and other cool ajax stuff that those who use the FTP version do not have.  They can also never be upgraded either.

So, I have moved my entire blog back to my own hosted server and installed WordPress!  It works so well and I have WordPress widgets too.  If you see any bugs, please contact me!

The venue was clearly over capacity as there were people on the sidewalks outside the cafe/laundromat trying to see them!

Also at the show, Greek National Road, Danielle Ate the Sandwich, Hank Green (of the Vlogbrothers), and Julie Nunes! It was a truly epic night, if you could get in or even on the sidewalk.

During the show, there was a crazy Twitter hive-mind where you would find out information via Twitter, like that Julie Nunes or Hank Green was even there. You could ask the crowd a question (via Twitter), and people would reply.
